Art Fusion Studio
AboutArt Fusion Studio
Rick & Tracey Bewley:
For more than twenty years, we have collaborated as Art Fusion Studio, a husband-and-wife team creating mixed media art from glass, metal, wood, and acrylic. Our complementary skills allow us to design and fabricate work that is genuinely unique, shaped by two perspectives rather than one.
We are drawn to materials that contrast sharply — glass against concrete, acrylic against rusted steel. That tension invites a closer look: the unexpected warmth of color hidden in rust, the shifting complexity of light on a polished surface. Wherever possible, we build in transparency, through openings or glass elements, so that light — natural or artificial — becomes part of the sculpture itself. Transparency also adds depth, revealing the layers of construction and letting the surrounding landscape become part of the piece.
We especially love creating individual commissions tailored to a client's vision, and our work includes numerous public art sculptures installed in communities — among them a pair of monumental art deco chandeliers we designed and fabricated for the Oklahoma City Civic Center, each measuring 10' × 7' × 6', built to echo the architectural character of the historic building.
Come see us at our open studio & art gallery at 1218 N. Western Ave. in OkC!
